This is a place that is very special to me. I built the 'shed' out of recycled materials,(other peoples scraps and trash)about twenty years ago.
It has evolved into something that many people have enjoyed over the years.standing room only folk music concerts;fine fresh food from the ocean, forrest, and garden, cooked on the grill;a nice crackling fire in a converted old water heater,on cold nights;a place to create, congregate and converse. What a blessing it has been.

...and what nice little hide away. How far from the house? Are you surrounded by these trees?
sounds very nice, I would like to live in the forest one day.
Carl wow!
I think you are a "man of my heart" (my 'hus' man is always first :) haha!) But I really like the view, I love forest and also to re-use all kinds of materials-things.
I never bought my house -stuffs 'all at once' I always like to use old things and when I buy something new, I keep it in the closet-cupboard untill I think its 'not so new' anymore...
That way I likelife more :)
Carl, welcome to Blogger! This is a nice site, I like your template. Of course I recognize these photos from before, and it will be fun to watch you develop your sense of space here.
I'm embedding my blogger site in my name, so you can have that as well as the Flying photoblog.
I like the rambling limbs that criss cross the tree trunks. What an appealing, wild looking forest area.
Very nice shot.
I love your site and look forward to more Pics. This is a good way to keep up with the family. Keep up the good work...
Hi Carl sr,
post some more views please?
Happy weekend. :) JoAnn
A very nice shot of the sun dappled trees. You must get a lot of critters around your place.
Hi,
Thank for your comments
:) JoAnn
Nice looking woods, but also it looks like a nice separation from this crazy world too.
I need me a "shed," cause Lord knows I could use a place to be alone.
