Talent contest at Church

This was a while back.My friends Michael and Jim,danced while I sang 'Man of Constant Sorrow'.
The version from the movie "Oh Brother where art thou".
We had a blast and so did the crowd!
After that 'act',I played my guitar, and sang "She'll be Coming 'round the Mountain".
P.S.I wore my regular church clothes, and they bought outfits.

So good to hear your sweet voice and find your picture and your friends, sounds like as much fun as is allowed, so glad you had the pleasure. Love you always, Mama. xoxoxo

Hi Carl ~~ I watched that movie a couple of weeks ago, "O Brother where
art thou." Maybe we should just call you "George" (Clooney)
Your grandchildren are lovely and I guess they do get sick of us taking photos. I hope your Christmas was
wonderful and that 2009 will be the best yet. Take care, Regards, Merle.

A riot! I just iTuned that song by Patty Loveless - hadn't heard a woman sing before. In her version, it's "A soul of constant sorrow." I love that song, and yours would have been a fun version to hear.
